Whats Going on at Your Hospital?

If you would like information on how often your delivery hospital schedules early cesarean sections and inductions visit The Leapfrog Group, a non-profit organization that compares hospitals on national standards of safety and quality, asked hospitals to voluntarily report their rate of early scheduled deliveries before 39 completed weeks of pregnancy. The rates for all reporting or participating hospitals can be found on The Leapfrog Group’s website:

As a soon-to-be mother, we urge you to choose a hospital that adheres to care guidelines that promote a healthy outcome for both you and your baby. Remember, information voluntarily reported by hospitals can be used as a guide but should only be one of many factors you consider when choosing a place to deliver your baby. We recommend you talk with your physician about your particular circumstances and discuss when and where to delivery your baby.
